I first read the Hobbit when I was 7 Years old. I was in the first grade, and it took me quite a long time, because it was the first book I ever read on my own. But it probably explains why I&#8217;m so much in love with Tolkien and all kinds of fantastic stories &lt;3

For some reasons, the situation is quite familiar to me, and I think Bilbo did the rigth thing. It was the only way, Thorin would give in and do as he promised.

Duh. That&#8217;s really hard to say. I think I say Bilbo, because at the beginning, he is kind of lame, but he developes into a little adventurer.
